What this is
Interior design is the difference between a printed manuscript and a book. Margins that account for the binding, a text block sized for the trim, a typeface chosen for the category and the page count, chapter openers that establish rhythm, and running heads that help a reader find their place.
We typeset from one clean source and output to each format the book needs — print interior, reflowable eBook, and large print where the readership calls for it — rather than exporting a print file and hoping it survives conversion.

Yes. We just need the cover specification and the final page count to make sure the spine width matches.
Yes, where the book requires it — picture books, cookbooks and heavily illustrated titles usually do. Text-driven books are almost always better as reflowable.
We typeset in professional layout software and deliver output files. A Word document is a manuscript, not a typeset book, and it will show in print.
